The Hamilton Club produced some very good results at the Midlands regional tournament held in Tauranga at the weekend.
In a brief summary of awards Dale Daborn sparred his way to a gold in the Junior black belt division. Charlotte Blair won gold in her sparring division along with a bronze for patterns. Peter Marley gained a bronze in a very competitive patterns division, and James fought valiantly in the final of the senior coloured belt men’s division which ended in a first-to-score 4th round. Luke Daborn grabbed a bronze in the black belt men’s speciality event against some very good competition. David Blackwell achieved 3rd out of 3 in the open vet mens division. Scott, Zac and Justin competed with distinction but finished outside the medals.

Hamilton club congratulates Mr Brown and the Silla Club for winning the team spirit trophy, and Madison Black from BOP TKD Academy for winning the tenets trophy.
